Legends Deck is a baseball card collecting and simulation game that runs entirely in your web browser. It is free to play. Every player card in the game is rated using real Statcast data from Baseball Savant — the same data MLB front offices use to evaluate players. Ratings update daily at 3 AM Pacific so your cards always reflect current real-world performance.
Players collect cards by opening packs, trading on the live marketplace, or earning them through gameplay. Each card represents a real MLB player with stats like exit velocity, launch angle, sprint speed, barrel rate, strikeout rate, and pitch movement. These numbers drive the game simulation — your team performs the way the real players actually perform.
Every pitch and swing is simulated using real exit velocity, launch angle, pitch movement, and sprint speed data from Baseball Savant.

Zac built and maintains the entire Legends Deck stack solo — the Statcast data pipeline, the percentile-based rating system, all 12 game modes, the live marketplace, and the matchmaking engine. He's an independent operator and a lifelong baseball stat nerd, and he's transparent about the fact that this is a one-person project, not a studio.
All player data comes from Baseball Savant — MLB's public Statcast feed — attributed and respected as the source of truth for every rating in the game.
He built Legends Deck because the intersection of playing card games and digging through Statcast leaderboards was a game he wanted to exist and couldn't find.
