Batters qualify at PA >= 3.1 x their league-season's qualifying team games: the league's scheduled games where the player-level record is complete, or the recorded player-level equivalent (the league-season's player games sum over 9 lineup slots per team) where recovery is partial, per the source's Negro League data notes. The per-league base is receipted on every season page. Pitchers qualify on the W, ERA, SO and ERA+ boards at IP >= the same qualifying-team-games base as the batters (1 inning per qualifying team game, recovery-aware).
The staged tables cover 12 league codes across 54 seasons, 1891 to 1948. Negro National League I (1920-1931), Eastern Colored League (1923-1928), American Negro League (1929-1929), East-West League (1932-1932), Negro Southern League (1932-1932), Negro National League II (1933-1948), Negro American League (1937-1948): those are the leagues the source recognizes as major league caliber, with the spans the tables actually cover. 5 independent-team groupings (Independent Clubs, Western Independent Clubs, Eastern Independent Clubs, NAC, INT) carry the barnstorming and independent clubs of 1891-1936 the same way. Coverage is what the source recovered, not a smooth history: the Negro American League runs through 1948 in this release, and NAC (1907-1908) and INT (1909) keep their raw codes because the source readme names no league for them.
